Steve Schroeder Photography

Steve Schroeder Photography is located on Hardeman Avenue, very close to downtown Macon. The house was built in 1880’s and was used as a bed and breakfast in the 1980’s. Today it is used as a backdrop to enhance your portraits. Steve graduated from Sam Houston State University with his Bachelor's degree in industrial photography in 1980. Immediately following graduation, Steve joined the noted Gittings Studio in Houston where he fine-tuned his talents. Steve left Gittings in 1987 and opened his own studio there in Texas. His work over the next several years earned him a Master's Degree from the Professional Photographers' Association of America and a Fellowship Degree from the Professional Photographers' Guild of Houston. In 1995, Steve and his family made Macon their home. Shortly after setting up shop, the studio moved to the Hardeman-Hatcher house.
